The end of a love affair

How endless it all seems
Those feelings that remain
Also those will disappear
And will leave no trace

It's like sunshine
Trying to break through
With warmth and light
Into a misty morning

The cycle of life itself
Where nothing new
Will make a start
Before the old has died

It's not easy at times
When it is needed to stop
When things in the past
Have gone to the heavens

All that are left
While looking ahead
Good memories of you
In my life

Living Down Under

For someone like me
Living in the Old World
Called Europe
Down Under appears
Like falling off
At the End of the World

What a limited point of view

And so
I took on
Another viewpoint

I am now looking
From Down Under
To Europe, America
All of the rest
It looks like now
Europe is not falling
Off the planet but almost
How silly actually the idea

New Zealand and Australia
The center of the world
No one has realised it yet
Except for ages long
The Aborigens
And the Brisbane
And Auckland people

So if you are living Down Under
And people are calling you so
I call it now
The Land on the Up and Up
And I'll meet you there

The Singer

I have been near musicians
All my life
We shared the stage
And communicated

But never was the message
As clear and direct
As from the Singer

I have never seen a soul
Nor did anyone else
With earthly eyes

But I have heard
A soul very clearly
Very direct
From unmeasurable deepness
With a scala of emotions
Which touched my very heart
Again and again, every time
When I hear the Singer

The Emperess of Nizhnevartovsk

The Emperess of Nizhnevartovsk

Has a desire in her eyes

While she is travelling

Across the cold

And the loneliness

Of the Russian tundra

She has a desire

To see again

The reason

Why

She is in a dream

And lost

Her heart

To the Prince of Novgorod

Agnes

We were close
Very close
When we were seventeen
While you had
That long blond hair
And a bike
That I had to change
For another
Because your legs
Were too long

I had to grow up
To the fact
You lost your parents
When you were twelve

And we were close
Even when you were sitting
At the other end
Of the college room
Smiling

We were close
Very close
And we were happy

Friend

I just met you
Somehow somewhere
And the sparkle of a memory
Told me there was something
More to you
Then my eyes were seeing

We were just friends
My heart said yes
But my mind said don't

Would we ever tell
Each other

Would I ever tell
That I liked you
Without starting
A passionate romance

We are friends

You are
A friend
And because of you
I am a friend of you too

The taste of speed

I want to forget about my body
I want to forget about my life
Speed is my addiction
Speed is my biggest strife

Get that motor running
Get it into the highest gear
Push the throttle deepest
Push away that fear

See the surroundings fading
See the surroundings die
Slowly things are getting lighter
Slowly I move up into the sky

I have my prediction clearly
I have my prediction there
Still twenty rounds to go for
Still twenty rounds without care

The smell of speed I'm tasting
The smell of endless space
I am coming down the line again
I am coming down with pace
