Memory

I remembered
While I stand here
At the same place
Where I played
In my childhood years

I was smaller then
And yet
It seemed
I was bigger
Too

I am a woman now
A lover
I feel
Beauty
From within

But the greatest
Memory of all
Which I keep alive
Is how I carelessly
Played and played
With
Those little waves
At my feet
